Enemies Lists Being Created on Twitter

September 8, 2010 Political Blog 30 Comments

With the advent of TeapartyTracker.org and other associated sites to “expose hate from the right,” an increasing number of the left’s useful idiots are joining in the creation of enemies lists. This, of course, is a chilling development. It has at its core a simple goal: Intimidate dissenters and quash free speech. This is accomplished by the age-old threat, “I’m going to tell on you to Big Brother.” This tactic was used to great effect by despotic governments, and there is no reason to believe our increasingly despotic government is not working behind the scenes to make this practice widespread. Remember the “fishy e-mail” reporting site set up by the White House in the early days of the Obama Regime?  This activity is also glorified by the left which demands tolerance of its views while expressing nothing but hatred and intolerance to all views which do not match theirs. To understand this, please review our previous article “We Understand Libs, They Don’t Understand Us.”

This activity is now being carried out by low level operatives on Twitter where there is a multi-pronged attack on the right from the useful idiots. We’ve previously posted about the harassment which has recently gone so far as to espouse pedophilic attacks against our children. There is no question that all of this activity is organized, and the increasing involvement by Democrat operatives is becoming apparent. We don’t believe that the direct personal attacks were originally organized by Democrat operatives, but it does appear that opportunistic progressive organizers are seeking to make use of the useful idiots to accomplish their own agenda against the right.

Consider the following evidence collected over the past couple of days. Let’s begin with the overarching plan by TeapartyTracker.org to counter the growing power of the anger of the people by doing all it can to smear anyone associated with the Tea Party movement.

The mission statement of TeapartyTracker.org appears on their web page:

TeaPartyTracker.org monitors racism and other forms of extremism within the Tea Party movement. We call on the Tea Party to repudiate extremists within their ranks and join in civil dialogue with all Americans

Let’s dissect that statement a bit. “Monitor” is that reference to “Big Brother’s watching you” that totalitarians love to employ. “We’re monitoring what you do, and we’re going to report it.” The veil on the threat is as thin as Obama’s veneer of civility. “Racism and other forms of extremism” is another use of the now virtually exhausted race card. Decent people shrink from being called racist. It’s a horrible accusation, and it is designed solely to put people on the defensive. It has, however, been over played to the point of being meaningless. As to “extremism,” well, that is just about anything they want to define it to be. Wanting a smaller government with fewer social programs, well, that’s just plain extreme. We’re supposed to provide cradle-to-grave entitlements for everyone, and anyone who disagrees with that is just plain extreme. Calling on the Tea Party movement to repudiate extremists is another empty, feel good statement. Of course, if anyone sees someone at any event hanging Obama in effigy, they would be quickly escorted from the event, at a minimum. And the call to join in civil “dialogue” (note the British spelling, as opposed to the preferred American version of “dialog”) is again the call to agree with them or be called an extremist, a racist, or anything else they wish to use as a label.

Who exactly is behind TeaPartyTracker.org? Good question. They have locked down their WHOIS information. WHOIS Lookup Teaparty tracker However, we can deduce who is involved by the posts on the front page of their site and their partner list on Twitter. The list includes New Left Media which produces anti-conservative propaganda films, the NAACP, Media Matters for America, and Think Progress. At this point the picture becomes more clear. This group takes great pleasure in trying to create the impression that outliers, and they can be found in any large group, are somehow indicative of the entire group. This is exactly the behavior that the hypocritical NAACP decries whenever someone stupidly points out a young black man being arrested for a crime and saying, “See how they are?” Of course, no rational person would ever come to the conclusion that this person speaks for everyone, and the NAACP is correct in pointing out this bigotry. But then they support an organization that does exactly the same thing. Point made?

Let’s move on to the supporting cast. ClimateProgress.org recently posted an article “Right wing freaks out over Tea Party tracking effort.” In this article, they link the Tea Party movment to “Big Oil and corporate polluters.” Of course, most of us are still waiting to get our “Big Oil and corporate polluter” checks for being paid activists, not really caring about the future of the country, just showing up so we can be paid “astroturf.” Hopefully, the sarcasm in the last sentence is dripping down over it like a good rich maple syrup on a tall stack. Who backs ClimateProgress.org? The Center for American Progress, which owns over 200 similar sites. Here’s the WHOIS Lookup for ClimateProgress.org. Incidentally, the left will stop at nothing, including impersonation on their sites, to try to gain ground. Oddly, we don’t have any recollection whatsoever of making this posting in the comments to the article.

Now, let’s get to the ground storm troopers who do the field work.

A couple of weeks back, it was brought to our attention that Neal Rauhauser who goes by StrandedWind on Twitter was making disparaging comments about people who dissent against the Regime’s policies. He was using language such as “white trash with internet access,” or words to that effect to describe conservatives. It was also reported to us that he was doing work on some level for David Cozad, a Democrat candidate for U.S. Congress from the 6th District of Texas. We immediately sent a series of tweets to the Cozad campaign’s Twitter account, asking them to confirm the relationship, disavow the statements made by one of their purported operatives, and for firing Mr. Rauhauser if such a relationship did exist. A couple of days later, Mr. Rauhauser then put out a tweet claiming that he had “received a death threat from one of @GregWHoward’s associates.” Of course, we would never condone such behavior and immediately demanded several times that Mr. Rauhauser give us the name of the person, the means by which he had received the threat, etc. We searched all references to Mr. Rauhauser’s @StrandedWind account for several hours prior to that tweet, but could find absolutely nothing even closely resembling a threat, or even an insult for that matter. We never got a response from Mr. Rauhauser.

Also at that time, a particularly well organized wave of harassment of us and other conservative users of Twitter took place, an event that most conservatives on Twitter remember well, as it nearly caused an open revolt against Twitter for allowing the harassment to reach such a concentrated and heinous level. During that time, we were searching the tweets of the harassers to see with whom they were interacting besides us. We noted several tweets from @GregWHorses to @StrandedWind. At that point, we also noted that Mr. Rauhauser had compiled a “GregWHowardFanClub” user list on Twitter. In this list was the complete collection of the useful idiots harassing and defaming conservatives. Of course, that list has been deleted. And Mr. Rauhauser has now decided to protect his tweets. That’s his choice, but we don’t believe his activities end there.

Here is a screen shot of Mr. Rauhauser’s Twitter profile page taken today.

Click to enlarge and note associated accounts in profile

Note that he lists several associated accounts in his profile. The one that draws our interest is @Wingnut watch. The earliest tweet from this account is at 11:27 pm, August 31, 2010.Interestingly, that was the night of the revolt by conservatives at Twitter’s inaction to the serial harassment.  The second tweet from that account is directed at this author and immediately, this account started to screen capture tweets and post them to a Flickr page. All the tweets captured are intended to try to prove some Twitter-wide conspiracy between conservatives, to discredit by use of tweets out of context, and in general intimidate conservatives with “I’m watching you and logging everything you do.” Again, the intent clearly seems to quash free speech. Whether this account is Neal Rauhauser or not cannot be ascertained from the currently available evidence. What can certainly be deduced is that there is some level of ratification and support.

Facts that we do have note several rather curious aspects of the @WingnutWatch account. First, the “GregWHowardFanClub” list reappears here. It is a rather interesting collection of what we now believe to be the useful idiots that, if not created by liberal operatives, have been coopted. This is nothing new with the left. Lenin, Stalin, Hitler, Mussolini, and many others have trolled the bars and jails to find society’s worst to be unleashed on society’s best. Of course, history shows that the end of useful idiots is not a happy one.

Please take the time to look at the list. We are not egocentric enough to say you should block them because they are harassing us personally. A close look will show that this list is, in general, some of the most hateful and nasty users of the Twitter service against many different patriots.

Twitter – @WingnutWatch-GregWHowardFanClub – Following

Twitter – @WingnutWatch-GregWHowardFanClub – Following2

Twitter – @WingnutWatch-GregWHowardFanClub – Following3

Note that the general MO of @WingnutWatch is to capture an “offensive” tweet and then to send you a tweet noting that you’ve been placed on file. Classic intimidation. Most of us are laughing at this tactic, but understand, this is deadly serious business to the left. They want to have enemies lists created. They want to be able to turn people in to the authorities for disagreeing with their Chosen One and their agenda. They want to see us treated and tried as traitors. In short, they are the rebirth of the National Socialists in their quest for authoritarian rule over anyone daring to stand in their way.

Now, exactly what is being captured and posted by this account? Let’s take a look:

http://www.flickr.com/groups/wingnutwatch/

Just in case they get cute and delete this Flickr account, we have captured all posted tweet screen shots through 4:45 pm, September 8, 2010. If the page is taken down, we will update this post with the graphic images and cached pages we’ve captured. We have seen in the past that, when exposed, these characters run to ground and try to scrub the net of their activities. We are wise to these tricks and have taken appropriate measures to document their work. We also have cached all of @WingnutWatch’s tweets through this same time and date, as well as documented the other lists created by that account.

Here is a list of the patriots whose tweets have been captured on this site:

Woo Hoo! I’m on the list! You think it’ll be one bullet in the head, or two?

Isn’t it interesting how the same crowd that was trying to pass off Bush-is-Hitler is now screeching sedition and creating enemies lists?

    Sick, twisted, un-American.

    @LeftFighter

    • Brent Munlin says:

I should be on this list. I try very hard to piss off the libs. But, congratulations to my twitter friends that have made it.

    • crsfructso2 says:

That is the only way they can fight…dirty. They can’t beat us into silence…so they will use intimidation tactics. If you rally against the people they support, they will annoy you until you react…then they edit the comments made to make you appear crazy, racist, or hateful. And there are stupid folks out there who still believes everything the media airs in those liberal left wing news.

  2. Dave Morgan says:

How can your tweets be taken “out of context?” If they are hateful, they are hateful. Most of the people on the list of people you’ve mentioned being tracked are members of a “Twitter gang” known as the “wrecking crew,” a group which responds to and instigates foul-mouthed arguments on Twitter. You want to defend these people? If so, you are no better than the people harassing you on Twitter.

    God bless.

    • Chris Reich says:

God Bless you as well, but no one on that list espouses hatred (as if hatred of evil were a BAD thing). You plainly do not speak from first-hand experience.

If your thoughts are not your own, there is no need to waste time and resources to repeat them to those who recognize illegitimate dogma.

  3. Kimberly Morin says:

Thanks Greg for the head’s up. Funny these people are the wingnuts and the Leftist extremists but they target people who simply disagree with their whacked ideology.

Dave the Wrecking Crew was originally created to fight back against the nasty liberal trolls who constantly harrass Conservatives with their vile and disgusting tweets. If you haven’t seen or experienced those vile libtrolls you are one of the lucky few.

  4. victoria_29 says:

Geez I take a day or two off from tweeting & get left off the list…..guess my Troll attacks are just random ones.

  5. missebby says:

What bothered me was the porno that was placed
in my message boxes on Twitter. I kept thinking,
    “Why me?”
Next, it was someone posing as Greg1 Howard on my
message board and I did not Twit back because of
    the warnings.

  6. Chris Reich says:

It’s all good. We have our enemies list as well. It starts with comrades Che Obama, Nancy Pelosi, and Harry Reid.

It continues with comrades Louise Slaughter, Charlie Rangel and all other members of the congressional progressive caucus.

    Hillary Clinton

    George Soros

    Sean Penn, Harry Belafonte

    Rahm Emmanuel.

    …so many others…

We’ve been making our list longer than you have yours.

  7. Elizabeth Imbasciati says:

Damn Im not on the list. I have no idea what you have to do to get on it but if my tweets (some of you know them well) don’t qualify I must not be the bitch I think I am.It seems to me I have made by positiion against the O regeime and his treason against our Republic clear. I’ve had attacks by lib trolls who have threatened to kill me out of a clear blue sky never having had any previous ontact with them. The Wrecking Crew helped me then and I know has helped others. Are the trolls on a list? Ha Ha

  8. Lady Liberty says:

I simply cannot express my heartfelt disappointment that I DIDN’T make the list. Given some of the names that did, I would’ve been honored to be in their company.

  9. pinnie99 says:

LOL… The cheesy Gestapo! Im laughing mu cracker a** off. thank you for the information! The list is full of my favorite Patriots ..You know Greg I love you all!!

  10. June Moore says:

I didn’t make it on the list but I’m proud to follow alot of them.

  14. Adam says:

They’re public tweets on the public internet searchable by the public through public search engines, so how are they going to “report it” when you already made it is as public as you can make it? Are you really calling for your public comments to be private after you made them public? I’m not trying to be flippant, but your argument seems shaky.

    • GregWHoward says:

Whether or not the tweets are public is not the issue. The issue is the use of tweets in this tactic to try to intimidate people. I never back down from my tweets. I never delete a tweet unless it is a bad typo and then I immediately repost with correction. The issue here is that the left is making a concerted effort to tell people, “We’re watching you, and you’re going to pay for your dissent.”

  15. Just Plain Bill says:

Well, Shootee, I did not make the lists. I promise I will try harder.
Follow all that did though, so that is something.

  16. Derameth says:

YES….. I am on the list. Of Course I am because I REFUSE to be intimidated by the Left, The Trolls, The PROGRESSIVE Machine. Keep watching me LEFT….Keep watching us, because what you will see is that we will NOT reverse our position because of your pathetic rants and raves. Even NEAL is worthless when it comes to NOVEMBER! The Government in IRAN couldn’t stop the wheels of dissent from rolling through with Tweets….And this is NOT Iran! Saddle up folks, because we are gonna ride over these gestapo techniques and reclaim America from the Left.

  18. @jay_pe says:

Well my account was not watched according to your list. I remember I sent some trash tweets to the jerk @Standedwind. He is a really leftist loon. Our site is monitored by a few lefty orgs such as http://www.rightwingwatch.org Rather harmless, though ignorant as any lefty. Center For American Progress vandalized our site twice. We posted their IP address and server location for all to see. I love a good fight, mostly because I hate liberalism. It’s all of America vs. liberal scum. The outcome has been predetermined.

    • GregWHoward says:

Wonderful points you raise. I’ve not checked to see if we’re monitored, but I know my tweets have ended up on TeapartyTracker.org a few times. It’s all about intimidation, bluster and threats. They are only 20 percent of the population and only have power based on a perceived size that is greater due to their level of lock-step organization. They make a lot of noise, but are really quite impotent in the final analysis if we all unite against them.

  19. Hugely disappointed that we’re not on the list. Guess we’ll have to step up our racist, hate-filled, profane, lewd, disgusting posts.

    • GregWHoward says:

You may not have made the so-called enemies list, but I did archive about 5000 of their collective tweets. They made you a frequent target of derision, yet you stand strong, a true patriot.
