This weekend, Rep. Todd Adkin (R-MO), candidate to replace much despised Sen. Claire McCaskill in the U.S. Senate drew political ire for his remarks regarding the possibility that a woman’s body might not be as receptive to conception in cases of “legitimate rape.” The howls from the left and the right immediately went up. Although there might be some medical basis that a woman might not conceive as readily in cases of extreme stress, there is a great deal of literature on the subject, we found the remark to be insensitive and ill-conceived. (Pun intended.)

This is from an e-mail that arrived today. We’ve gone through and cleaned up formatting and made a few clarifications. We give thanks to @barrienj for sending this in.

This is a compilation of some of the top lies Barack Hussein Obama used while a State Senator from the State of Illinois to run for the U.S. Senate. Terry Anderson, a black Los Angeles radio host went down a list of things that then Senator Obama said that weren’t exactly correct and compiled the list.

Okay, why is this germain to this current re-election campaign for President? When assessing the fitness of Obama to remain in office, one can never overlook the importance of character. These are the first lies in his first steps onto the national stage, and we should never forget the absolute inability of this man to tell the truth, even when the truth is so clearly ascertainable to be contrary to what he says. Pathological? You decide.
